Feedstock and ash chemistry
Characterise local municipal waste, biomass and each residue fraction; identify contamination and variability.
The immediate objective is validation, integration and demonstration—taking commercially demonstrated and research-stage building blocks towards an integrated industrial system.
University of Greenwich has agreed to be listed in the alliance. Its role is materials research and technical expertise, including mineralisation and feedstock-specific validation, subject to the scope of appropriate agreements.
Laboratory work, cementitious material development and potential doctoral research support the validation programme. This does not imply that the university owns or controls the entire CIAP platform, or that every research milestone is complete.

Characterise local municipal waste, biomass and each residue fraction; identify contamination and variability.
Test leaching, strength, durability, cementitious activity and conformity with local product standards.
Validate mass and energy balances, operational reliability, modular interfaces and material quality under representative conditions.
Assess emissions, remaining residues, water systems, permitting and carbon verification before deployment.
FEG Island Infrastructure Group is the platform originator and programme-development lead, with infrastructure development and commercialisation roles subject to appropriate agreements. AFRY is an agreed-to-list technical participant; other consortium participation is not assumed.
Independent evidence, product test reports and agreement scopes must underpin any certification or funding submission. The website's TRL positioning is not a substitute for that evidence.
